About Me
I grew up on a small family hobby farm where we had cows, chickens, goats, a pig, horses, dogs, cats, and hamsters. My father was raised on a dairy farm in West Virginia and always instilled a love and appreciation of agriculture in me. I am originally from a small town in Tipton County (Brighton) which is about 40 minutes north of Memphis.

I was very active in the FFA in high school and participated in many events that included Dairy Judging, Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Extemporaneous Speaking, and Job Interview. I served as the 2007-2008 Tennessee FFA State Reporter. I have a Bachelors of Science in Agriculture with a major in Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communication from the University of Tennessee. I bleed orange along with my blue and gold!

My hobbies include traveling abroad, reading, and playing with my Xoloitzcuintli dog Stanley and Sphynx cat Stella - both are hairless!
